Six Sigma (6σ) is a process improvement management system and a quality management method. How can quality be checked in translations other than relying on the four-eyes principle?

Especially for an agency whose employees are not proficient in all languages, this requires suitable and easy-to-use tools. It goes without saying that, especially in the case of technical translations, it is necessary to check not only spelling and grammar but also the technical accuracy and comprehensibility of the content. Adherence to terminology – sometimes including proper names that need to be retained – and equivalence of terms in foreign languages must be ensured. This also applies to adaptation to country-specific customs, typography, and correct sentence structure.
