Specialised translations
For specialised translations, you provide us with your documents in your format (for example, Word or IDML from InDesign). We prepare them for the CAT process, ensure correct and meaningful segmentation of the content and assign translation memories and terminology databases. An analysis excluding content that is not relevant for translation then provides the basis for a quotation with an estimate of the costs and time involved. When commissioned, an exact schedule will be drawn up and confirmed to you. After translation, we return the documents to you in the desired target languages in the same format. You may then design the final layout yourself.
Specialised translations – complete
This service package includes the specialised translation supplemented by the post-layout or even final layout. You will receive the documents in the source format in the target languages. If desired, we can also create a PDF for your on-line communication with your customers and a PDF for printing.
Specialised translations – review
You provide us with your documents in your format. After completing the translation, we hand it over to you in an intermediate step in the form of a tabular RTF or DOCX file. This allows you to proofread or edit the texts created by our translators yourself. To do this, use the "Track changes" function in Word and return the corrected tables to us. Our translators review your changes to learn for the future what you want differently, apply the changes, update the content of your translation memory maintained by us, and create the final files in the source format.
This solution is intended for anyone who has the necessary language skills to proofread translations, e.g. by representatives in the target language country. This is the best solution when you want to be actively involved in the process and adjust, change or comment on translations as needed before final delivery.
Specialised translations – post-editing of machine translation (PEMT)
The PEMT machine translation solution is suitable if you need a particularly fast and cost-effective translation of your text with graduated quality requirements determined by you. You decide, we do:

Edit and correct a machine translation.
Complete post-editing
Post-editing with the objective of obtaining a product comparable to the result of a human translation.
Minor post-editing
Post-editing with the objective of obtaining a merely understandable text without the claim to be comparable to the result of a human translation.
This solution can even be linked to your TMs and terminology databases. This means that content that has already been translated does not have to be processed again by the machine, but can be reused from previous translations.
Translation synergies
(The more you have translated by us, the cheaper the translations become)
By using translation memories (TM), we ensure that the content of your translations is saved and can be reused the next time you translate into the same language. This increases the translation speed and ensures consistent quality. If you send us another text to translate, we will analyse it with our translation program. The analysis shows whether we have already translated sentences of the text previously and whether these sentences can be reused in whole or in part in the new translation. Since our translators can translate a 100% match faster and more easily than a new sentence, this is also reflected in the price. The more content is stored in the TM, the more you save on your subsequent translations.
